“The House Edit” story started i London in 2023. Our love for English design, english quirqueness, Antique markets and hidden places in and around London, brought an ide to life . We wanted to capture the slowly prosess of refurbishing a house into a lovely home in South West London. And so we did. The simple idea behind “The House Edit” is to share how a home can be created over time, taking on a considered room for room. The key values in our philosophy is to consider what you already have, rearranging things around, mix and group differently. Aim for a personal layered home where your stories matter. Stay away from impulse buys, may go for second hand if you consider something new? More than everything; Decorate by heart.The House Edit is a visual journey, with photos taken over time, days, weeks and more than a year by the professional photographer Cecilie Refsum. Cecilie has an eye for much more than the actual atmosphere, and her aesthetics is visible in every view. Together we have found a way to express this visual journey.We have visited Antique Markets, design districts and just lovely places along the way. Slowly, with a coffee in hand, all senses in full swing, and Cecilie as always with her beloved camera by hand.
